All I have to say about this hipster dining spot is The View, The View, and The View!!! Come here for the view and enjoy their wonderful food.
Here is what I tried:
Appetizers:
Mezze Mediterranean Red pepper hummus, figs, prosciutto, Casreivetrano olives, Cherry Tomatoes, artichoke hearts, romaine, grapes, burrata, and naan bread. This is a full meal; it’s got some much going on – but all amazing.
Wild Mushroom Flatbread, roasted garlic, burrata, arugula, truffle oil, and balsamic reduction. A wonderful, hearty flatbread, with very scrumptious mushroom flavors.
Fried Coconut Shrimp, chili lime sauce. This was my favorite menu item, the shrimp is crispy and has a nice coconut coating, this is a must have.
Hamachi Crudo Pacific yellowtail, cherry tomatoes, fresh herbs, and yuzu vinaigrette. This fish is very fresh and the accompaniments are just what the doctor ordered.
Salads:
Baby Spinach Salad hard boiled eggs, goat cheese, croutons, bacon and Caesar dressing. I loved this salad; it has everything you would want in a spinach salad.
Burgers:
La Casa Smash Burger all beef patty, white cheddar, bacon jam pickle, romaine, smoky chipotle mayonnaisse a toasted brioche roll. A thick meaty patty makes for one very satisfying burger.
They play old school R & B hits, the customers vary, tourists, locals, dates, people who just want a cocktail and a panoramic view. Whatever the case it is a must go to when you’re in Laguna Beach.
You’re really in the best spot in all of Laguna Beach, without a care in the world, the Rooftop Lounge will keep your spirits in tow and make you wonder why you just don’t reserve a table every weekend?
